Privacy policy

Privacy by Default

pourlepeuple.fr is designed to be privacy-respecting by nature. We process the bare minimum of data, we sell nothing, and there are no ads and no third-party trackers. Everything is processed on our servers, in France.

Your Files

• They are processed solely to perform the tool you ask for (compression, conversion, etc.).
• They are deleted automatically: immediately after the result is sent, and at the latest by our automatic purge (maximum retention of 30 minutes).
• They are never read by a human, never reused, never shared, never sent to any third-party service.
• No database: we keep neither your files, nor their content, nor their names.

Cookies and Trackers

For visitors to the site, we set no cookies and use no third-party analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel). That is why you see no cookie banner: there is no need for one.

A single technical cookie is used exclusively for logging in to the private administration area (/admin). It does not concern visitors.

Anonymous Statistics

We measure traffic (number of visits, most-used tools) in an anonymous way. Your IP address is never stored in clear: it is immediately hashed with a daily salt, which makes it impossible to trace back to you. We keep only aggregated counters.

Technical and Security Logs

For the security of the service and to fight abuse (rate limiting, protection against attacks), our servers — and our hosting provider — may temporarily process your IP address in technical logs. These logs are not used for profiling and are kept for a limited time.

Access to the administration area is also geographically restricted to France; in that case your IP address is used for this security purpose only.

Donations and External Links

The solidarity section offers links to charities. We collect no donations. When you click a donation button, you are redirected straight to the charity's website: you leave pourlepeuple.fr, and it is that charity's privacy policy that then applies.

No Transfer Outside the EU

The entire service is hosted in France (YORKHOST SAS). Your data is not transferred outside the European Union.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Since we keep almost no data, nor any information that could identify you, we have in practice no profile in your name. For any question, or to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection), email us at contact@creativework.fr.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
