Can the blacked-out parts of my image be recovered?
No. The redacted areas are replaced with solid black pixels, so the underlying content is permanently destroyed and cannot be restored.

Are my files kept or shared?
No. Processing happens on our servers, then the file is deleted immediately and an automatic cleanup removes any residue. Nothing is stored or sold.
